Every new restaurant starts on Free, which lasts 30 days. Before it ends, move to a POS plan for card payments, texts and the AI receptionist, or take the AI receptionist on its own with the AI plan.
Free
- 30 days, with no card. Nothing is charged, and there is no card on file to charge. After 30 days, new sales and bookings pause until you take the AI plan or a POS plan, and the register shows the days left before then.
- Cash and gift cards. Card payments come with a POS plan — see take card payments.
- Confirmations and reminders by email. They go to your guests by email rather than text.
- No staff limit.
- No texts and no AI receptionist. Both come with a POS plan, and the AI receptionist also comes on its own with the AI plan.
POS plans
POS plans are priced by team size. Every POS plan includes card payments and text reminders, and the AI receptionist with unlimited calls and texts.
Plans run month to month, with no contract. The current prices are always on the pricing page, and a larger team can talk to us about a custom plan.
The AI plan
The AI plan is the AI receptionist on its own, for a restaurant that is not on a POS plan. Your register stays on Free, and keeps going after Free’s 30 days.
- $0.25 a minute. Choose 100 minutes a month ($25), 200 ($50), 300 ($75), or any whole number of minutes from 50 to 5,000.
- Your restaurant’s phone. You give a phone number when you start the plan. When your minutes run out, new calls ring it instead. A call already in progress is never cut off.
- Add minutes. 100 minutes for $25, used after your plan’s minutes. Like them, they end with the month.
- No carry-over. Minutes renew on the 1st, and minutes left at the end of the month are gone.
- Changing minutes. More minutes start now, with the rest of this month charged today. Fewer start on the 1st.
Billing on the 1st
- Every paid plan is billed on the 1st of the month.
- If you start part-way through a month, the first month is pro-rated: you pay for the days left, and on the AI plan you get the same share of the minutes.
- A move to a bigger plan starts at once, with the rest of the month charged that day. A move to a smaller plan starts on the 1st.
- Tax is added where it applies.
Choosing a plan
Plans and minutes cannot be bought inside the iPhone, iPad or Android app. Sign in to your account in a web browser to choose one — the sign-in link is on Get started.
When a plan ends
A cancellation takes effect at the end of the month. When a POS plan or the AI plan ends, or its payment cannot be collected, your restaurant goes back to Free: cash and gift cards, email instead of texts, and no AI receptionist.
A restaurant we set up with you on a trial moves to Free the same way when the trial ends, unless you have chosen a plan.
