How do the plans differ?

Free runs the register for cash and gift cards, with no staff limit, for 30 days. The POS plans add card payments and carry unlimited staff, and they differ in what they include, not in the size of your team. The smallest has no phone number, so no texts and no AI receptionist. The next adds texts, the AI receptionist with free minutes every month, and marketing tools, and the largest adds unlimited texts, more free minutes, and search and AI marketing. Each card above lists exactly what its plan includes. The AI receptionist is also its own plan, paid by the minute, for a restaurant that is not on a POS plan.

Is Free really free?

Yes, and there is no card to give. Free lasts 30 days, then your restaurant keeps its register going with the AI plan or a POS plan. Free takes cash and gift cards; card payments, texts and the AI receptionist come with a POS plan, and you can upgrade whenever you are ready.

Do I pay per staff member?

No. Every plan carries unlimited staff, front of house or back, so a new server never changes your bill and nobody holds a place on your plan. Staff you deactivate simply stop being able to sign in.

Is there a limit on calls or texts?

It depends on the plan, and each card above says exactly. The smallest POS plan has no phone number, so it sends no texts and takes no calls. The others include a monthly text allowance or unlimited texts, and an AI receptionist with free minutes every month; free minutes you do not use are gone at the end of the month, and you can add 100 minutes for $25 when you run low. A call is never cut off: when the minutes run out it finishes, and new calls ring your restaurant’s own phone. Free sends no texts.

How do AI plan minutes work?

You choose the minutes a month — 100, 200, 300, or any amount from 50 to 5,000 — at $0.25 a minute. They renew on the 1st, and minutes you do not use are gone at the end of the month. Running low? Add 100 minutes for $25; they are used after your plan’s minutes and end with the month too. A call is never cut off for minutes: it finishes, and new calls ring your own phone until you have minutes again.

When am I billed?

Every paid plan is billed on the 1st of the month. Start part-way through a month and the first month is pro-rated: you pay for the days left, and on the AI plan you get the same share of the minutes. Tax is added where it applies.

What happens when my team grows?

Nothing changes, and nothing costs more. Every plan carries unlimited staff, so you can take on servers without switching plan. If you need something the plans do not cover — several locations, or help we have not listed — get in touch and we will put a custom plan together. A move up between plans starts at once, with the rest of the month charged that day; a move down starts on the 1st.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. Plans are month to month. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the month, and your business goes back to Free.

Where do I choose a plan?

On your account page in a web browser — the sign-in link is on the get-started page. Plans are not sold inside the iPhone, iPad or Android app.

Is setup included?

Yes, on the POS plans. Importing your menu and staff, and configuring opening hours and policies, are all included — most restaurants are live within a day.
