SeasonX runs on the phones and tablets you may already own. You are never required to buy our hardware and there is no hardware contract, though a dual-screen SeasonX counter terminal is available if you want one.
Phones and tablets
SeasonX POS runs on iPad, iPhone, Android tablets and Android phones.
It does not run in a web browser. Signing in to SeasonX in a browser takes you to your account page — plans and billing — rather than to the register.
Card readers
Every new restaurant starts on Free, which takes cash and gift cards. Card payments come with a POS plan and run through one of two processors:
- Zettle — switched on for your restaurant by SeasonX, then signed in to on each device that takes cards.
- Payroc — a card terminal, added to a register by its serial number.
