Terms of Use
Terms for using SeasonX.
These terms apply to the SeasonX website and service unless a signed customer agreement says otherwise.
SeasonX is operated by Lumoras LLC ("Lumoras", "we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the SeasonX website and service.
Using the service
You may use SeasonX only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms, your selected plan, and any applicable customer agreement. You are responsible for account activity, authorized users, and the accuracy of business information and reservation rules supplied to SeasonX.
Call and privacy responsibilities
You are responsible for determining and providing any notices or consents required for call recording, transcription, automated interactions, caller memory, marketing, and reservation communications in the locations where you operate.
Reservations and business actions
SeasonX performs actions using the configuration, availability, permissions, and connected systems supplied by the customer. Customers should review their setup, menu, staff access, opening hours, cancellation rules, and escalation procedures before production use.
Acceptable use
You may not use SeasonX to violate law, deceive callers, harass people, compromise another system, transmit malicious content, collect information without authority, or interfere with service operation. You may not attempt to bypass account, tenant, billing, or integration boundaries.
Text message terms
Businesses that use SeasonX send text messages to their customers from the business's own phone number. Lumoras LLC sends these messages on the business's behalf. These terms apply to anyone who receives them.
- Messages. Reservation confirmations, reminders, notices that a reservation was changed or cancelled, booking verification codes, receipts requested at the counter, and replies from the business's staff. Confirmations may include a map link to the business, and receipts may include a link to review it. Offers and news are sent only to customers who separately agreed to receive them.
- Consent. Giving your phone number to a business to book or manage a reservation is agreement to texts about that reservation. Agreeing to offers and news is optional, and is not a condition of any purchase.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies with your bookings and the business.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop texts from that business. You may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Reply START to receive texts again.
- Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email [email protected].
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing. See the Privacy Notice.
Businesses that use SeasonX to text their customers must have each customer's agreement to be texted, send offers and news only to customers who agreed to receive them, and honor every opt-out.
Plans and payment
Paid use is governed by the pricing, plan limits, renewal period, usage charges, and other terms shown at purchase or in a customer order. Plan availability and pricing may change prospectively.
Plans and AI minutes
- Free. The Free plan costs nothing. It takes cash and gift cards only. Card payments, text messages and the AI receptionist need a paid plan. A restaurant may use Free for 30 days from the day its business opens on SeasonX. After that, new sales, bookings and changes pause until it takes the AI plan or a POS plan; open tickets, reports and closing the business keep working.
- Where plans are bought. Paid plans and extra minutes are bought on the web, on your account page, and not inside the SeasonX app.
- Billing on the 1st. Every paid plan, including the POS plans and the AI plan, is billed monthly on the 1st of the calendar month. The month starts at midnight in your business's time zone. When a plan starts part-way through a month, the first charge is pro-rated to the time left in that month, counting the day it starts.
- AI plan minutes. The AI plan gives the number of AI receptionist minutes a month that you choose. In a pro-rated first month you get the same share of those minutes as of the price. Minutes renew on the 1st, and minutes not used by the end of the month do not carry over.
- Extra minutes. Extra minutes are sold in blocks while the AI plan is active. They are used after the plan's minutes and expire at the end of the month in which they were bought, whether or not they were used.
- Running out. A call in progress is never cut off because minutes run out. It finishes, and the balance may go below zero; the shortfall is taken from the next minutes you receive or buy. While the balance is zero or below, new calls are forwarded to the phone number you gave for that purpose and use no minutes.
- Changing plans. A move to a more expensive plan, to more minutes, or from the AI plan to a POS plan takes effect at once, and the price difference for the rest of the month is settled that day. A move to a cheaper plan or to fewer minutes takes effect on the 1st, and the current month is not refunded in part.
- Cancelling. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for. When a paid plan ends, including because its payment could not be collected, your restaurant returns to Free. If its 30 days on Free have passed, that means Free with new sales and bookings paused until it takes a plan again.
- Refunds. Minutes that have been used are not refundable. An extra block of minutes that has not been used at all can be refunded on request; email [email protected].
- Tax. Prices do not include tax. Sales tax is added where it applies.
Third-party services
SeasonX relies on third-party telephony, media, speech, AI, email, payment, and scheduling services. Their availability and terms can affect a configured workflow. SeasonX is not responsible for changes made independently by those providers.
Availability and changes
SeasonX works to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be improved, replaced, limited, or discontinued as the product and provider ecosystem change.
Ownership
SeasonX and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, website, and branding. Customers retain rights in the business content and data they are authorized to provide, subject to the processing needed to deliver the service.
Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or ended for nonpayment, unlawful or harmful use, security risk, material breach, or discontinuation of the service. Customers remain responsible for charges incurred before termination.
Disclaimers and responsibility
Voice AI can misunderstand speech, incomplete information, or unusual requests. Customers are responsible for selecting appropriate automation boundaries and maintaining a reasonable path for requests that need human judgment, emergency response, professional advice, or unsupported actions.
Changes to these terms
SeasonX may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current published version. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply unless a separate agreement provides otherwise.
